Most of the things that will be taken on the trek and Machu Picchu tour will be taken by your extra porter that kenko adventures service included from the beginning of our trekking tour until the end. We recommend to our passengers, every one of these things are very important to enjoy your experience and and feel comfortable on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu as well as in our alternative trek to Machu Picchu.

  • Original Passport (must be the one you used to book your tour).
  • Valid Green ISIC Card for students discount.
  • Day pack (not more than 25L, or you will need to check it for the Machu Picchu tour).
  • Cash (local money).
  • Camel back or water bottles at least 2 liters
  • Waterproof, lightweight hiking shoes/boots
  • Comfortable shoes for the campsite or flips flops
  • Sleeping bag (-10 degrees celsius) –it can be rented from us
  • Towel for hot shower.
  • Flashlight or Headlamps
  • 3-4 fast dry shirts
  • 1-2 long sleeve layers
  • Fleece
  • 2 hiking pants
  • 2 pairs trekking Socks
  • Fresh undergarments for each day
  • Warm jacket for nights
  • Warm and waterproof gloves
  • Cap for the cold
  • Neck cover / head Band / Bandannas
  • Sunglasses
  • Sun hat
  • Rain jacket
  • Rain pants
  • Trekking towel and quick drying
  • Toiletries: Toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrush, hand sanitizer, hand wipes, sunblock, chapstick, soap, shampoo. (for hot shower that is included in Kenko Adventures service)
  • Bug spray
  • First Aid: band aids, mole skin, Diamox, Tylenol, etc.
  • Personal medication
  • Camera
  • Extra memory car and batteries
