Amazing guide
Elvis is an amazing guide. We hiked the Incan Trail to Machu Pichu. I workout, I think of myself as pretty fit, but I definitely should have trained more. However, Elvis was with me every step of the way. He was more coach than guide. He taught me how to breathe in altitude, how to use my poles, the most efficient path, etc. I made it! I don’t know how I could have done it without him! He knows every ruin and every plant so he definitely kept us entertained as we trekked through pretty tough and amazing terrain. He also took us to Chonta to see the condors. Do this!!! It’s gorgeous even if you don’t seem them, and it’s miraculous if you do.
Elvis is fun, personable and thinks of everything so it all feels seamless and natural. His sense of timing is perfect. We never felt rushed, yet everything kept moving. Generally, people love their guides, but Elvis is the best of the best.
