Our group of 5 friends embarked on a 4 day Inca Trail adventure to Machu Picchu in November of 2018. Our experience on the Inca Trail was really enhanced by having our fantastic, experienced guide. 

Elvis started building trust with our group from the initial briefing the night before our departure where he patiently laid out the plan for the next 4 days and provided honest answers to our questions (we had a lot of them). He has impeccable timing to know when to take a water break and share information about the ruins you walk near or a plant you should examine more closely to understand more about traditional or cultural practices. He's so savvy that he weaves it all in effortlessly and voila you have gotten the break you didn't even realize that you needed and learned something too. Plus, he is a great storyteller. Oftentimes, I spied other folks on the trail trying to listen in on our conversations because they could tell we were having a great time listening, asking questions and joking around with one another. 

He put his experience to work for us and went above and beyond to point out fantastic photo ops, take terrific pictures, suggest better locations for bathroom breaks and much more. 

This trek is not without its challenges--there are a LOT of stairs and the impact of the high altitude environment is no joke, but Elvis led our group with patience and humor throughout our 4 days! Thank you!
