My friend Erin and I did the Salkantay Trek including a day at Machu Picchu with Elvis as our guide, and we had an amazing experience. Elvis speaks excellent English, and his knowledge of the history and culture of the area really enriched our journey. The food was delicious, the accomodations far exceeded my expectations since I am used to packing all of my own equipment when I trek at home, and everyone we met was so kind and hospitible. I highly recommend Kenko Adventures and hope I can return for more trips to Peru in the future.
