Inca Trail To Machu Picchu One Day - Maps

The Inca Trail is one of the most requested treks in Peru to visit Machu Picchu and the quota is limited due to the restrictions ordered by the Ministry of Culture of Peru and SERNANP (for the correct conservation of the heritage)

This tour involves a day of walking. Unlike the Short Inca Trail, the visit to Machu Picchu is done at the end of the walk (after 5 to 7 hours) and the return to Cusco is done the same night.

The walk starts at KM 104 and is the last stretch of the Four Day Classic Inca Trail, which takes you directly to Machu Picchu through the Puerta del Sol (Inti Punku). The distance to be completed is 8 miles.

There is no doubt that it is an incredible feeling when you enter through the same entrance that the Incas made more than 5 centuries ago, with the ancient city in sight.
