We thank Kenko Adventures for a wonderful four days on the Salkantay trek. Elvis and team did an amazing job, from the flawless logistics to excellent food on and off the trail. For instance, they went out of their way for us to sleep comfortably in the high mountains, bringing additional blankets and other insulation. We also expressed an interest in having cuy, which they promptly whipped up in the camp kitchen the following day. Accommodations in Aguas Calientes were wonderful for the price point. Unlike some of the other tour groups we saw on the trail, Kenko keeps groups small and the experience intimate. We didn't have the best of weather because of the rainy season (it rained on several occasions, increasing during our time in Macchu Picchu) but Elvis's good humor and spirits carried us through. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a quality trek for good value with a local trek operator.
