First: Machu Picchu
This is the principal attractive in our Cusco region, due that UNESCO had catalogued it as one of the 7 wonders worldwide, with more than 200 constructions among temples, palaces, astronomical observation centers and sacrificial altars with different architectural styles in some cases very rustics and in others, perfect walls in which even a needle cannot fit between each stone.
Huayna Picchu Mountain This mountain is located inside Machu Picchu Archaeological Park, which is located at 300 meters more than Machu Picchu Inca Citadel. Here it takes approximately just 45 minutes hiking up and other 45 minutes hiking down.
In our country, we have the Traditional Inca Trail which is considered as one of the 5 top hikes around the world and is located inside peruvian lands, ending at Inca Citadel Machu Picchu. It has a length of 45 kilometers through the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas and traversing the Vilcabamba mountain range to finally reach the tropical forests of Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary.
The climate in our country is very variant and does not consider the normal 4 seasons. Here, in just one day we can see all of the seasons! And this is why we recommend our visitors to be prepared for any occasion, either for rain or sunny days.
