Inca Trail altitude sickness training

Our statistics for altitude problems are increasing to 40% (Altitude Sickness), for those who are just exploring hight cities like Cusco, Titikaka Lake, or Bolivia. In the case of trekking routes that take you to Machu Picchu, the statistics go up to 75% and the trekking routes where they have to go over 4200 meters or 13800 feet above sea level.

Everyone could have altitude sickness in different proportions, because many of our visitors do not have a lot of time to prepare for it. Also they do not have enough time during their vacation trip to make the gradual ascent in different heights places.

So this idea of hiking training plan start to contribute the welfare of our visitors for better experience with our training program for altitude.

It is that tour that does not require any preparation and does not demand physical activity, usually the whole route is carried out in transport and there are very few walks and any tourist could take the tour.  We can suggest the sext tours:

They are those tours that demand a moderate degree of difficulty since it demands physical activity they are usually 1-day hike  at heights that exceed 8000 feet above sea level, generally this level of difficulty is found on the Inca Trail of 1 day, the 2-day Inca trail, the hike to Huayna Picchu, the hike to Machu Picchu Mountain.

That is because they have a lot steps of different sizes that were built by the rugged geography, we also have some trekking destinations on the Peruvian Andes, so we suggest having a moderate preparation or an active life to have a great experience on your trip to your vacation.

They are those tours that demand a lot of physical activity and adequate preparation and a very good physical condition is required. These tours are usually hikes that go from 3 days to 7 days, where you walk every day between 6 and 7 hours where it is done for more than 1000 meters and likewise descends hundreds of meters by very steep steps.

it is suggested to have a preparation at least 2 months in advance with activities that help strengthen the muscles of the legs with a good technique to hold your breath as these tours generally cover heights over 14,000 feet above the mountains in very rough terrain and very low temperatures as well as very high temperatures.
